San Diego Comic Con 2010 – Hasbro Transformers Panel

Hasbro held its Transformers panel on Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con. After being told that we could not videotape proceedings by a very dedicated SDCC volunteer, Sandman captured the images below for you of the product portion of the presentation.

The start of the panel discussion was dedicated to the Activision Transformers game, the War for Cybertron. The panel talked about the standard things – how they wanted to extend the lore of Transformers in a way that was respectful to the property, etc, etc. They also talked about some downloadable content for the game – I believe it was 5 characters and 4 maps.

The product theme this fall will be the Hunt for the Decepticons, which involves a component where you will be able to become a member of the Autobots. At the Con, they’re offering the opportunity for us to become a member of the Decepticons.
