On Preview Night, Mattel showed us their Club Infinite Earths Black Mask and Poison Ivy production samples in 6 inches (we had seen them in 2-up format at Toy Fair). Earlier today, at their MattyPalooza panel, Mattel showed us the figures that would round out this year and kick off the subscription next year.
Club Infinite Earths for 2013 is on sale now, and there will be a sales target like last year for the sub to actually move forward. In addition, there will be a second target – if the sub hits that, then Mattel will be able to budget a fully-tooled figure (think like Ram Man in Masters) for the 2014 subscription.

I really didn’t like the gorilla mold when they used it for Grodd a couple of years ago. The articulation in the hips is terrible. I wish they had modified the body from Ultra Humanite instead for that figure. As it is, I probably won’t even keep it.
