Masters of the Universe Classics Clamp Champ May Escape Your Clutches

Mattel has posted packaged shots of the upcoming Masters of the Universe Classics Clamp Champ. I’m somewhat surprised that, like Fang Man, there will be no additional figures available for “day of” sales. So folks who didn’t subscribe to Club Eternia are left to the aftermarket. You can find some listings for Clamp Champ on eBay and some may pop up at BBTS even though pre-orders are sold out.

Hey Matty and MOTUC fans!

Just got in final package samples of July’s Clamp Champ figure! Note that while this is a monthly figure, like Fang Man, Clamp Champ here will not have any “day of” stock for 2013. So the only way to get him in July is if you are a subscriber! (hey, Club Eternia has its benifits!)

We are all so pumped for SDCC right around the corner, but until then, here is a new packaged shot and bio to feed your MOTUC needs!

See you in San Diego!

Matty

PS: Don’t forget the 2014 Club Eternia subscription is on sale now! More details at SDCC at our fan panel at 11:00 on Friday July 19th in rooom 25ABC.

That's really effing lame, Mattel. Last month I was mad on behalf of the subscribers who didn't have a fair chance to get a Spirit of Hordak figure, because subscribers should have a shot at any figure they want without jumping through hoops. Now, to have a core character ( meaning one that actually had a vintage figure) not be available to non-subscribers is really low.
Every vintage figure is going to be on high demand, and Matty knows this. This does not entice me to buy a subscription for 2014, this makes me say "screw it, I'm done messing with anything having to do with mattycollector.com."
