Star Trek Figures Set For April 19 Release

Playmates has announced the toy lineup to support the upcoming Star Trek feature film being released by Paramount on May 9th.  The following toy lines are set with a street date of April 19th.  Additional lineups for the fall to be announced.

  • Galaxy Series – 3.75 inch Star Trek figures (10 figures in initial wave)
  • Warp Series – 6 inch Star Trek figures (10 figures in initial wave)
  • Command Series – 12 inch Star Trek figures (4 figures in initial wave plus 2 TRU exclusives)
  • Playsets (Transporter Room Playset & Bridge Playset)
  • Role Play (Starfleet Phaser, Starfleet Communicator, Starfleet Tricorder)
  • Iconic Vehicle (U.S.S. Enterprise Iconic Vehicle)

Command Collection – 12 inch figures

  • The ultimate set for collectors, the 12″ figures are life-like, and fully articulated.
  • Uniforms for each figure is made of fabric with the utmost attention paid to style and detail.
  • Each figure also comes with signature accessories.
  • Sulu and Pike are Toys R Us exclusives.

Warp Collection – 6 inch figures

  • These 6″ figures are life-like, fully articulated and come outfitted with soft, flexible PVC shirt
  • Accessories include standing base, removable utility belt and a signature movie phaser and communicator.

Galaxy Collection – 3.75 inch figures

  • These 3.75″ figures are highly detailed, fully-articulated, and come with removable utility belt, Phaser, and standing base.

  1. Those 3.75-inch figures look questionable. The Original Spock, especially, has some articulation issues from what I can see in the photo.

    The random bridge/transporter room pieces is a great idea, though.
