Return Of Marvel Legends Terrax Wave – Steve Rogers Super Soldier

True Believers, Marvel Zombies and No Prize winners rejoice; Marvel Legends has returned!

Both ROML Terrax Wave and Arnim Zola Wave are hitting stores and online dealers now and the toy collecting F.O.O.M.* are in a feeding frenzy. I was lucky enough to be at my local Target on a morning when a fresh case had been put on the pegs and couldn’t resist picking up Steve Rogers, Extremis Iron Man and Thor. Later in the day, I went back for Ghost Rider, but he was gone. In a fit of anger and remorse, I scooped up Constrictor and Hope. Klaw was nowhere to be seen.

And now, without further ado, here’s the skinny on ROML Terrax Wave Figure #1, the ML with the longest title; Commander Steve Rogers – Super Soldier!

Figure Details:

Figure reviewed is the Standard Version with Solid Shield

A Variant Version is available with slightly different paint deco and translucent shield to simulate Rogers’ Ion Shield

Disparity > Size of head, a little too big for some fans while some are okay with it

Disparity > Height of figure; some fans think figure is too tall, some like the added height

An Assist! > If you’re extremely bothered by the height of the figure and a fairly skilled customizer; Fwoosher, thor333us, has come up with a modification

Pro > The shield has a hinged clip that can be switched between a clip to attach to figure’s wrist and a peg for mounting on the figure’s back

Con > Ion Shield should have been packaged with both versions of figure

It appears that Target, Toys-R-Us and Wal-Mart are keeping fairly good stock of this wave while the online sellers seem to be selling out of shipments fast, so good luck hunting!
