With San Diego Comic-Con right around the corner, Star Wars Black Series is here – well, not quite, but the pre-orders for wave one of the 6-inch Star Wars line from Hasbro are up. You can reserve your set of Star Wars Black Series Series 1 at Entertainment Earth and BigBadToyStore, who’ve both put up their pre-order pages in the past couple days.
Case packouts are even, with one of each figure: Luke Skywalker (Rebel Pilot), Darth Maul (not pictured), R2-D2, and Sandtrooper. Oddly enough, I wonder if that means the trooper will be the hardest to find, if you believe many people will want to army build.
I think I’m all in for this line, so pre-ordering a case makes sense to me, even if it means an agonizing wait if they show up on retail shelves first. Who’s in?
