SDCC 2015: Beast Kingdom Star Wars Darth Vader and Magnetic Floating Iron Man Exclusives

SDCC 2015 Beast Kingdom exclusive Star Wars Darth Vader and Floating Iron Man Mark III

Beast Kingdom from Taiwan will have two super cute exclusives at San Diego Comic-Con, courtesy of Blue Fin. Darth Vader and Iron Man will be featured in their “Egg Attack” looks, which I think are thusly named for their oversized but adorable egg-shaped noggins.

Both feature LED lights, and the Iron Man has a truly remarkable magnetic floating feature that allows it to hover, spinning, over its base. Bluefin products will be located on the Main Hall in Booths #3545 and #140.

Star Wars Egg Attack Action Darth Vader: EAA-002SP

This 6-inch limited edition Beast Kingdom rendition of the iconic villain is constructed with compound materials and painted with expert techniques that perfectly capture the texture of Darth Vader’s armor and clothing. Also features a light-up LED lightsaber and life-supporting device on the chest. MSRP: $139.99

Egg Attack Iron Man Mark 2 – it floats over a magnetic base – $169.99 too steep?

I fell in love with the Mark II version of the floating Iron Man, but couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger at this price. But a red and chrome Mark III? I’m not sure I’ll be able to resist it.

  1. Nuthin’ for Nuthin’, but……… How big are these things for $140 clams & $170 clams??? That Iron Man is cool, but like you said, high price point to “pull the trigger”

  2. wally2974 – from what I recall seeing the Mark II, it could rest in the palm of your hand, but I don’t think you’d be able to close your fist around it. it was in a closed glass cabinet so I can’t say definitively. I’ve been thinking about picking up the Mark III at SDCC (more like trying to talk myself into it) so I may have some in hand shots to share next week.

  3. So I am having zero luck getting this iron man to float. I just can’t find the magical spot where iron man will balance between all the magnets on the base. Help. Please. Before I destroy this very expensive paperweight.
