Looks like DC Direct will leverage the year-long Brightest Day event in the comics in its action figure line-ups. Blackest Night produced eight series of figures – with these previews, Brightest Day is on its second series, due in comic book stores in April next year. I think we’ll see some pretty interesting character choices if we get to eight or more series in this line, and I’m really liking what we’ve seen thus far.

I think DC Direct produce some of the nicest sculpts about, but unless they get get with the program and up the articulation I just can buy them.
