SDCC 2014: Hasbro Reveals Marvel Legends Spider-Man Figures for 2015

SDCC 2014 Hasbro Marvel Legends Spider-Man 2015

(Apologies – connectivity problems in our hotel hampered our updates tonight, and considering how much we’re paying it’s a complete travesty. But after getting it sorted out I wanted to get at least this update out before sleep.)

The Hasbro Marvel team put out four new figures in the spot designated for the Marvel Legends Spider-Man wave for 2015. I’m not sure if this constitutes the full wave, but we’ve got Spider-Girl (Mayday Parker from an alternate universe), a Hobgoblin that I’m not familiar with, a Spider-Man decked out with accessories, and an updated Spidey 2099. We’ve got more pics of the Spideys in our Marvel Legends album.

In addition, the Avengers spot in the Hasbro display got some changes from when the Avengers wave was shown yesterday. Thor and Sentry were removed, and the white-suited Iron Fist, and the Hawkeye that was kind of an amalgamation of a few different looks, were swapped in. Again check the Marvel Legends album for new pics.

It raises a question on whether the line-ups are solid, or if there’s going to be running changes again, or if they’re just mixing it up for fun. We’re talking with the Marvel brand team tomorrow in the early afternoon. If you have questions you’d like us to try to ask, please leave a comment and we’ll do what we can. Thanks!

  1. I like that new Hobgoblin design, but the real winner may very well be that Spider-man. Those are THE 6 hands he needs to come with. Could be the end-all be-all of Spider-man figures.

  2. meh, we’ll never see them all in stores.   We’ll probably see the few figures packed 2 to a case, but there will be at least one or two that are short-packed and only found by scalpers and resold online for 3x the price.
