Buzzy’s not a fan of Sy-Klone, but while I never had the original figure or his remake in 200X, I like what they’ve done with him for Classics. The figure aims to please both vintage and 200X fans by making the ring that was part of the remake removable on this figure. It also looks like he’ll still have an ab crunch, but if it is indeed there, the chest piece will likely restrict movement.
Previewed in Toy Fare magazine this month, here are some more image of April 2011’s Club Eternia figure! He comes complete with shield and clip on Solar Ring. The final radar sticker will be a lenticular just like the original toy!

Kevin Flynn joins his son (Sam Flynn and his Light Cycle were announced about two weeks ago) as the second Hot Toys figure from TRON: Legacy. I think the head sculpt needs to be tweaked a little bit. I do see Jeff Bridges in it, but I think the eyes are a little too close together and slope down too much. We’ll see if Hot Toys will adjust this ahead of release.
Mezco has announced that its first Mez-Itz from its DC Universe license will be Hal Jordan and Sinestro from the upcoming movie starring Ryan Reynolds. I had been wondering what had happened to this line since picking up the Batman and Joker set at San Diego Comic-Con – glad to see some DC Mez-Itz planned, even if it’ll be May before they hit shelves.
Mattel posted new images of its upcoming February figures. Bow, who switched spots with Vikor so he could be the Valentine’s Day figure (I kid – it was because Vikor was further along in development than Bow was) will have good company with Battle Armor Skeletor and the Club Eternia exclusive Preternian He-Man.
I’m not sure what this means for the Shadow Beast – perhaps he’s being shifted out in the schedule.
