Another Transformer? Yeah, I picked up most of the latest G1 characters. I couldn’t resist. Even if Transformers Reveal the Shield Perceptor here, doesn’t transform into a microscope! That’s probably my biggest gripe with this figure. The research truck does make sense, but I’ve got love for that microscope mode!

Anyways, I do like his ‘bot mode as it closely resembles his cartoon look. He’ll be in robot mode most of the time anyway in my display!

As a child of the 80’s, I loooved the Transformers animated movie. I hated that they killed some of my beloved G1 characters so easily in the beginning, but I did like that they introduced some new characters like Hot Rod, Arcee and of course, Kup! I loved his character and wondered where was he the whole time I was watching the TV show? I also liked that the Dinobots loved listening to his war stories, it was good to see the Dinobots respect somebody aside from Optimus!

So when I saw that Hasbro was going to release a Kup, I knew I had to get him. Heck, I don’t even have a Hot Rod (now I have to get one, the 2-pack with Cyclonus maybe…), and now I have a Kup!
