I’m a bit late with the pics of the Masters of the Universe Classics Webstor.  Thanks to the September through December MOTU Classics subscription (does it have a classy name like “Club Eternia?”) I had Webstor in hand last Thursday, but didn’t get the chance to open him until now.  Even though I didn’t hit Mattycollector.com this month since I didn’t anything else on my buy list, I heard that the ordering was as smooth as it’s been.  That’s good news, because as the year closes out, more and more figures will be must haves on the Mattycollector.com release schedule.

Since I’ve already seen a couple of great reviews at Fwoosh (actually, a First Look a few weeks ago) and Critical Mess, I’ll be brief with my comments.  On the plus side, the armor pieces are great.  They fit well together, and the articulation on the legs is fantastic.  On the negative nits side, a rubber band on the soft grappling hook may leave it permanently bent, if I’m too lazy to straighten it out.

This being the first subscription month, I was a little concerned that I didn’t from Mattel or Digital River the whole day.  For those of you who are signed up starting in January, you won’t get a confirmation e-mail – you’ll just get a shipping notice, typically the next day.

Webstor may have been lonely this month, but in October we have Teela (subscription) and Zodak (bonus), the Ghostbusters Ray Stantz, and the Bank Robber Joker from Dark Knight Movie Masters.  See what I mean about it getting busier?
