“Every Day They Grow Stronger” – Hasbro Reveals Line-Ups for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

You didn’t need the Force to know Hasbro would be coming out with new toys for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, right? Hasbro has shared the initial line-ups for vehicles and playsets for the 3.75-inch scale, a wave of figures for Star Wars: Black Series in the 6-inch scale, and basic and deluxe figures in the 12-inch scale.

With their recent foray into super-articulated 12-inch figures for Marvel, I thought maybe Star Wars would follow suit with Black Series in 12-inches. But that’s not to be this time around.

No Bothans were harmed to bring us this press release.

We’ve Stolen the Plans for the LEGO Sets for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in the US on December 6 this year, and LEGO will be there with LEGO Star Wars sets based on the movie. We’ve got the schematics for eight new sets. Many Bothans died to bring us this information.

While no official street date has been revealed, if past patterns hold, we should see these sets hit shelves in the 3 months before the movie release. And there’s this year’s Force Friday, aka Rogue Friday, which falls on September 30. So, use the Force!

Marvel Legends Captain America Civil War Giant Man Wave – Packaged Pics First Look

Hasbro released a press pic of the Build-a-Figure from the second Captain America wave of Marvel Legends – Giant Man from the Captain America: Civil War movie due out May 6 this year. The assortment should hit shelves this summer and will include Captain America, Iron Man in the Mark 46 armor, and Black Panther figures from the upcoming film, as well as Nuke, Nick Fury, and Red Guardian figures from the comics.

In addition to the pic of Giant Man, I was lucky enough to find fresh cases of the Cap wave at a local toy store during a recent trip to Asia. Apologies in advance for any blurry shots – I was hastily snapping shots and putting the figures back into the cases, as they were exorbitantly expensive. But I was able to get some pics of each of the six figures, including some close-ups of the alternate heads that will come with a few of them.

Mezco Explores the Final Frontier with One:12 Collective Spock from Star Trek

We may have just had the biggest geekgasm ever this past weekend with the Star Wars: The Force Awakens opening (saw it, loved it!) but this is some pretty good news to start the week. Even before a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, I was a Star Trek fan.

Mezco’s announcement of a Star Trek Mr. Spock figure in their One:12 Collective line is hitting all the right spots in my Neutral Zone.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Getting Tsum Tsumed

Brand new Marvel Special Edition Tsum Tsum plushes will be available on December 15 at Disney Stores online and in their bricks and mortar locations. These long-rumored and finally confirmed set of plushie stackables are anticipated to sell out fast and are being released ahead of the Marvel Tsum Tsum mobile game launching in 2016.
