A couple of weeks ago, the Mattel Shop had a $20 or $50 off sale, but only if you spent $100 or $200. This time around it’s a bit easier – just spend over $25 and you’ll get 20% off and free shipping as part of the extended “Blue Friday” sale they kicked off yesterday.
The Superman™ Movie Masters® Bundle for $79.95 is still a great deal, for five figures. You can also get the Man of Steel figures individually, except for Faora. There’s also Batman (including Batman, Riddler, and Penguin from the Classic TV Series), DC Comics and DC Universe (why these two are separate, I don’t know), and WWE categories to search through.

With your help, we could be launching another small toy company with the aim of producing action figures, with a twist – the robot animal figures are made out of weapons and accessories that work with themselves or with your other toy lines. BMOG Toys just began their Kickstarter campaign to get the first two figures, a bear and a manta ray, tooled up and launched.
Sounds similar to what our pals at Spy Monkey Creations has done with the Weaponeers of Monkaa, but with BMOG (Bio-Mechanical Ordnance Gestalts), the figures and the weapons are one and the same. The Spy Monkey weapons packs have their roots very much in Masters of the Universe Classics. BMOG has its roots in Transformers – the project team members have worked with Hasbro. In conjunction with LEGO, Marvel has published a series of videos featuring our favorite LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. The first episode sets up Loki as the mastermind behind the scenes, as he powers up Doc Ock for a fight versus Spider-Man.
