Three A Toys WWRp Grunt Four-Pack Available for Pre-Order Now

3A fans asked for more advanced notice for action figure drops and they have tried to comply – now we’ve got a bunch of 3A notices to post. Ironically, the first notice is a heads up that a 4-pack of World War Robot Portable Grunts is up for sale on Bambaland now. Previously, they had been offered in single-packs.

Although I want a Stealth, I will probably pass on this 4-pack and wait for the JEA Marine colorway.

WWRp Grunt 4-Pack

WWRp GRUNT BUMPER SET on pre-order now at www.bambalandstore.com for 180USD shipped, including: Deep Powder, Stealth, DIY and Desert Grunts + four unseen random Squares.

It’s a resident sale, so they will be patrolling the store for some time.

Entertainment Earth Reveals Third Star Wars Black Series Greedo Production Update

For the past two weeks, Entertainment Earth has been providing weekly installments of the production process for Greedo, the first of Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series wave 2 figures that’s been revealed. This week we get a close-up look at a couple more 3D renders, perhaps the final ones, of the Greedo sculpt.

This follows the first update in which we saw Greedo’s blaster, holster, and hands, and last week’s update where we saw the painstaking detailed feedback provided by the Hasbro Star Wars team, which resulted in this render. And if you still haven’t, you can pre-order Star Wars Black Series wave one.

Sideshow Toys Reveals Prototype Armor Boba Fett

Sideshow Prototype Boba Fett 1

Star Wars afficionados will dig the latest 1/6 scale figure from Sideshow Collectibles. It’s Boba Fett in the armor that Ralph McQuarrie and Joe Johnston designed for his initial screen tests. Although the design team knew that for The Empire Strikes Back that Boba Fett would have a fair amount of color, for the initial look the armor was a stark white.

The Sideshow exclusive version of the prototype Boba Fett includes a Star Wars beach towel cape (and a matching base.) It’s a tribute to the initial Boba Fett screen test – the costume team hadn’t finished the cape, so a Star Wars beach towel served as a stand in. Online retailers like BigBadToyStore also have a regular version available.
