Each figure will come molded in their own clear “Alpha Phase” color, with character specific paint accents and clear colored ABS accessories. (PHOTOS SHOWN ARE FOR EXAMPLE ONLY – THOSE ARE EARLY PROTOTYPE IMAGES OF THE INFINITY EDITION VERSIONS – TEST SHOT PHOTOS COMING SOON).

  • COLOSSUS REX (Deluxe 2) – Molded in clear green. Comes with chest armor, long axe, mace, war shield, a set of open clawing hands and a set of closed gripping fists.
  • HORROSCOPE (Wave 6) – Molded in clear purple. Comes with helmet, staff and laser pistol.
  • OHPROMATEM (Wave 6) – Molded in clear smoke gray. Comes with Meta-blaster, a hand held disintegrator, and a head with three rotating faces (to be revealed later this week).
  • GAMMA X (Deluxe 3) – Molded in clear. Comes with body armor, Gamma blaster and laser disruptor.

Taco Truck Packaging Best Thing about Marvel Universe Deadpool Corps SDCC Exclusive

I’ve been trying to get myself pumped up about Hasbro’s Marvel Universe exclusive for San Diego Comic-Con. I love Deadpool, so you’d think that six versions of Deadpool in taco truck packaging would be right up my alley. While the packaging truly is glorious, it’s tough to see this as more than a bunch of missed opportunities. Deadpool himself looks to be recycled from one of the figures back from Wolverine Origins, and while they added the floaties (a great touch) you’d think if they were going to add an alternate head, they could have included Headpool / Zombie Deadpool. Lady Deadpool and the Champ are nice representations of the comic book characters, but I really do hate the book – Rob Liefeld artwork – need I say more?

If you are willing to pay just a little more for the convenience of avoiding the hunt, then NECA’s eBay store is a great place to pick up hard to find items. Toys R Us had been fairly reliable with their aisle for collectors, but the ones in my area have squeezed out a lot of the shelf space that had been allocated for it.
