Border Patrol: 1/6 The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef

In AFP’s Border Patrol, we scour active eBay auctions for customized action figure that you won’t want to let slip by!

These 1/6 custom figures of Blondie and Angel Eyes are built on Hot Toys bodies and feature the likenesses of Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef and hand-made accessories to complete their outfits in detail. I am still waiting for the Tuco / Eli Wallach to be listed, but he looks awesome too. There’s lots of pictures in the eBay listings.

Masters of the Universe Classics Moss Man, Evil Lyn, Screech, and Optikk – Action Figure Insider

Mattel was not able to show the upcoming Masters of the Universe Classics “celebrity” figure for San Diego Comic-Con at the MOTU Art Show at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles last night, but they swapped in a previously unannounced figure – Optikk.

Optikk is from the New Adventures of He-Man, the first from that show announced, and will be the Club Eternia figure in May. He looks like a pretty decent update of the original toy.

Also on hand were Moss Man and Evil Lyn (with an orb that will fit on her wand or staff), and an armored Screech with perch.

Our friends at Action Figure Insider were on hand.

Venture Brothers Bobble Heads and Figures Coming Soon from Bif Bang Pow!

I’ve loved the Venture Bros. for a while, but it wasn’t until Doubledealer made not one, but two custom figures of Brock Samson that I wanted action figures from the show. Looks like I won’t have to wait too much longer. Big Bang Pow! has been awarded the Venture Bros. license, and should have bobble heads in the spring and action figures in the summer.

Art Asylum and Diamond Select Toys Shipping Update 1/10

Art Asylum / Diamond Select Toys has updated their list of upcoming shipping dates. The Marvel Select Cyclops shows up in June, so May does not have a Marvel Select figure. And those of you curious about what happened to the Marvel Select Best of Assortment – it got pushed back to January 20.

Marvel Select War Machine WIP Pics

Art Asylum has posted some in progress pics of the Marvel Select War Machine from the Iron Man 2 movie. They snuck in a pic of the War Machine Minimate too. 😀

I think the Don Cheadle likeness is spot on, and the armor looks great. I may have to pick this and Iron Man up – they’re due out March 3.
