C2E2 2013 Photo Report

Once again this year I made the trek to the Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo in Chicago, Illinois. Below is a sampling of the cool and not so cool stuff that can be found there.  Some of the highlights were the new area just for indie artists called “The Block”, and the awesome display of graded vintage Star Wars toys at the “Vintage Toys & Pop Culture Auction.”

As always, the Nerd City booth was the central hub for all things awesome and homemade. TheGodBeast had a great new Armorvor exclusive as well as some new Armorvor heads.

There were many dealers on hand with a great variety of vintage toys. And as always, a scalper or two.

The vintage toy auction had some really amazing pieces that I’ve never seen in person, including an Amazing Spider-Man #1.

Kotobukiya also had some great new stuff on display.

All in all, C2E2 was great again this year. The con keeps getting bigger, has more vendors and guests, but hasn’t suffered the glut that other cons like Wizard World have lately. I managed to find some nice pieces for my collection and look forward to next year.
