The Walking Dead Comic Series 2 on Sale Today Only at Entertainment Earth

I just checked into Entertainment Earth’s “Countdown to Black Friday” in which they offer a deal each day, usually only for that day. Today’s deal is for the Walking Dead Comic Series 2 – you can get individual figures for $9 each or the entire wave for $33.

I can’t believe how disgusting some of these figures are. Removable limbs? Intestines you can wiggle around? Nasty! This deal ends tonight at midnight.

Play Imaginative Super Alloy Quarter Scale Mark 42 3

With the announcement that the 1/4 scale Iron Man Heartbreaker armor would go up for pre-order imminently, YesAnime, Play Imaginative’s distributor for Super Alloy products in the US, released some press pics of upcoming products. Included were the Heartbreaker armor, in both 1/4 and 1/12 scales, and the Mark 42 in 1/4 scale.

I’ll be buying lottery tickets in the hopes I can build a diecast armory one of these days.

Marvel Select Thor: the Dark World Lands in Comic Book Stores Tomorrow

I saw Thor yesterday (one of the benefits of traveling overseas) and luckily, the Marvel Select Thor is hitting comic book stores tomorrow. Jane Foster in her Asgardian garb will have a connecting base, and while I’m happy she’ll finally have an action figure, I think Loki would have been just as good, or even a better choice. He really steals the show this time around.

Border Patrol: 1/6 Scale Tyler Durden, Anton Chigurh, and Riggs and Murtaugh

Tyler Durden Anton Chigurh Riggs and Murtaugh

This week, it was a number of 1/6 scale movie figures that caught my eye:

  • Fight Club Tyler Durden by Rainman – this previously owned custom is numbered 12 of 20, and comes with a replica of the bathrobe worn around the dilapidated house that served as headquarters for Project Mayhem – ends Nov 07, 2013 14:31:10 PST
  • No Country for Old Men Anton Chigurh by Rainman – another previously owned custom from Rainman – I can almost hear him demanding that I flip a coin – ends Nov 05, 2013 23:46:49 PST
  • Lethal Weapon 2 Riggs and Murtaugh by inminime – yes, previously owned versions from a limited original run – but somehow feels incomplete without Joe Pesci or some South African drug lord to scream “DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY!” – ends Nov 09, 2013 19:45:28 PST

In AFP’s Border Patrol, we scour active eBay auctions for customized action figures that you won’t want to let slip by!
