DC Universe Classics Wave 16 Articulation Review

DC Universe Classics Wave 16 is starting to find its way into the hands of collectors, so it’s time to take a look at how the updated articulation is working. We had gotten a preview with the Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle from the Trigon wave, but with wave 16, we’re seeing the new articulation schemes with basic human forms.

We’ll start with Robin, as he’s the best in the bunch. He’s got an impressive amount of new articulation, allowing a lot more dynamic poses.

Marvel Universe Comic 2-Packs – Deadpool / Taskmaster and Patch / Silver Samurai

Last week we had such a great of posts from the guys here that I somehow missed the press image of the upcoming Marvel Universe 2-packs that showed up on hisstank.com forums. There’ll be two new 2-packs – one will feature Deadpool and Taskmaster, and the other the “Patch” incarnation of Wolverine and Silver Samurai.

Hot Toys Movie Thor Press Pics

Hot Toys also revealed their movie Thor during their 10th anniversary show in Tokyo. I have been warming up to the movie as more trailers have come out, and the figure looks to be a great representation of the movie costume and Chris Hemsworth. I hope they can get the helmet fitting just a little better on the final figure.

I’ve got a Hot Toys Iron Man Mark IV sitting in my Pile of Loot at BigBadToyStore, so I will be tempted to build up Hot Toys Avengers collection.

Hot Toys Raiders of the Lost Ark Indiana Jones Press Pics

We got a glimpse of Indiana Jones during Hot Toys’s 10th anniversary show in Tokyo. Now that the press pics are out, I’m getting more and more psyched. I think the head sculpt could use a little more tweaking but this is shaping up really well.

Marvel Select Abomination Packaged Pics

Abomination is massive – we’re lucky that the Marvel Select packaging is big enough to fit him. If you are looking for a one with a pristine card, that might be tougher to find. With the Hulk and the Thing (the previous big guy releases), I remember that the plastic bubble would sometimes get separated from the card, if you were only holding the card and not supporting the figure underneath.

Here he is in all his monstrous glory. This is one big action figure. He is in scale with previous Marvel Select Releases and will strike fear into the hearts of every other figure in your collection.
