Next Story Installment for Weaponeers of Monkaa has Begun, with New Drop on the Way

Are you excited for a new installment of the Weaponeers of Monkaa? The first chapter is up, and we’ll see new chapters every day this week.

Then, a new drop a week from Wednesday, including SDCC exclusives. Cool stuff!

Chapter 1: The Lost Gohlem

The landscape was silent. It was just before dawn, and very still in this brief moment between night and day. Suddenly there was a ripple in the air, a deafening crack, and then a blinding explosion of light and fury. When the dust settled there was a crater, jagged on the edges like the broken shell of an egg. At the center of the crater a hunched figure stirred and slowly rose. It was a Gohlem of Monkaa. However, this Gohlem was different. Tall and perfectly formed, he pulsed with the glow of raw power. This newly awakened Gohlem surveyed the land and skies around him, quickly discovering he was alone and that he had no idea where he was.

Nor did he have any idea who he was.

Batman: Arkham Origins Collector’s Edition to Feature Exclusive Joker Statue with LED Lights

Speaking of Batman, the latest installment in the Arkham series of video games is coming. Batman: Arkham Origins Collector’s Edition is available to pre-order, and it will feature an exclusive statue of the Joker, complete with LED lighting effects. In addition, you’ll also get Deathstroke as a playable character with 2 skins and 2 bonus maps, a first appearance Batman skin, and a bunch of other cool items, including printed materials and bonus DVDs.

I had a blast playing Arkham Asylum, but never finished Arkham City. Are you guys going to pick up Origins?

Action Figures from Harry Partridge’s Starbarians in Progress

Are you a fan of Harry Partridge’s Starbarians? If so, you’ll be glad to know that he’s been working with our good pal Joe Amaro to develop action figures for the animated Youtube show.

Joe and Harry posted the WIPs of Killgar and Hogstrong on Facebook, and when asked if these will be for sale, Harry replied, “That’s the eventual plan!”

ThreeA Toys HALO Emile Pre-Sale on August 29

The next HALO offering from 3A Toys will be up for pre-order in a week’s time. More info will be forthcoming, like the price. For reference, Commander Carter was priced at $200 when he went up for pre-order a little over a year ago.

The pre-order window usually opens up in the evenings here in the US, mornings in Hong Kong – that accounts for the date discrepancy, for the time-zone challenged.
