To be honest, I didn’t know a lot about Glyos or Onell Design before the Four Horsemen started incorporating them into their Outer Space Men and Symbiotech lines. But Sandman and I stopped by the Glyos booth at SDCC (I’ve got to see if we have any pictures available), and they’ve got some really cool stuff cooking. BattleGrip has a great first look at the new joint system coming from Glyos. Looks like some really dynamic poses will be possible.
The Glyos System Expands with New Joints
Matt Doughty (Onell Design) sent me photos of a completely new set of joints for the Glyos System action figures. I got a sneak peek at these a few months ago when I visited Matt, but now I get to share the latest photos of these new parts. I posted a Flickr set for those of you who want a peek at the larger images. All I know is I’m gonna order tons of these once they’re released as packs.
Because of some of the language Hasbro used promoting its San Diego Comic-Con exclusive version of the Marvel Universe Galactus, I had been concerned that maybe the Devourer of Worlds was going to be limited to the Con. But at the Hasbro Marvel Panel, they did confirm that Galactus would be hitting retail shelves in October.
In line with that timing, we’ve got an auction for the retail version at Yahoo Auctions Hong Kong. I’m hoping to get the Marvel Ultimate Alliance variant, but am not sure if it will be introduced as a running change, retailer exclusive, or at the same time as the comics version.

Jakks’ TNA Deluxe Impact Series 1 is finally hitting the shelves in my neck of the woods! I found them at Toys R Us and Kmart while making the rounds this weekend and I picked up Sting to see how they compare to the old TNA WWE Deluxe Aggression line.
