Comic-Con has come and gone and now it’s time to get crackin’ with some SDCC Exclusive Pic Reviews! I’m starting off with one of my favorite exclusives this year: the Hasbro 2010 San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Captain America!
Hasbro Marvel Mighty Muggs! They’re cute, beautifully detailed with sharp paint apps and remind me of SouthPark for some reason. I haven’t been sucked into rabid MU MM collecting, but I picked up my first at SDCC in 2008 – the Mark III from the first Iron Man movie (more on that in a bit). So, I had to get one of the SDCC 2010 Mark VI figures from the sequel. (My wife loves it when I say I *have* to get something.) I figure they’ll make great bookends for my Iron Man TPBs.
VeeBee is a huge Ghostbusters fan, and in our interviews with Mattel at San Diego Comic-Con (which VeeBee is busy transcribing) we talked a little about the 12-inch Ghostbusters figures and how cool the packaging is.
Of course, I couldn’t justify adding another 12-inch line to my already-busting-at-the-seams collection, so I had to take their word for it. But this video preview of the upcoming Winston figure showed me what I’ve been missing. Pretty cool stuff!
New Video of Ghostbusters™ Packaging Mural
Ghostbusters™ Fans,
So you know we’ve got Winston Zeddemore™ on sale on Monday, August 16th, right? What you may not know is that when you put his package side-by-side with the rest of the team’s packaging, it creates a sweet mini-mural featuring the rooftop scene from the first film! Check out this video that gives a full demo of Winston and his accessories, and get your first official look at the mural.
You’ll need all four 12” figures to make the mural. You can get Winston Zeddemore™ on August 16th here on MattyCollector.com, and keep your eye on this spot for info about possible re-releases!

Do you ever get tired of shooting photos of your figures against blank backgrounds? Want to spruce up your display shelves but don’t have the time to build a fancy diorama or even have the space for one? Well Action Figure Displays! by JDPDesigns may have the answer to this dilemma.
The new G.I. Joe: Pursuit of Cobra figures have been popping up at retail and I thought I’d share some quick pics of Beachhead and the Alley Viper! I haven’t bought any Joes in a long time, but the nice sculpts and wealth of accessories made me give in!
