I really can’t afford to keep buying Hot Toys figures, but I won’t be able to resist the Terminator 2 T-800.

First Look – Masters of the Universe Classics Battle Armor He-Man – TheFwoosh.com
I loved my Battle Armor He-Man when I was a kid, and this figure captures everything that made it a great toy. Since the armor is removable, I think I would have preferred to have flesh underneath it and sculpted abs instead of the smoothed out armor piece – that would have made the figure a little more versatile. I may put this head and armor on my original He-Man.
If you are on the fence about this figure, I say go for it, he really is the best He-Man we have gotten in my opinion. If you are just now getting into the Masters line and don’t have a He-Man figure yet, you are in luck – this one will make a representation of the main Master on your shelf. I had always planned on getting this figure even though I was not sure what I was going to do with him. Well, this one will with Battle Cat – it’s like peanut butter and chocolate, they go great together. The one quibble I think most will find is that he only comes armed with his battle axe – no sword or shield. Remember, you have to be on Matty Collector on the 15th in order to get him!

Mattel Avatar Movie Figures 25% Off at ToysRUs.com
I’ve heard a couple times from a few collector friends that the toys from James Cameron’s Avatar started moving considerably faster after the movie hit. I wouldn’t be surprised if that were true – the movie is so stunning visually, I can see that translating into more demand for the figures.
ToysRUs.com is running an Avatar promotion, and that should help move more product. Most figures are 25% off, but the big vehicles and animals, which work for pretty much all the 3.75-inch scaled figure lines, are discounted more.

Mattel WWE Elite Collection Undertaker, CM Punk, and Rey Mysterio Jr.
After giving us a great look at the Mattel WWE Entrance Greats Triple H, Salem Crow is back with a review of three of the four figures in the Elite Collection Series 1.
I’m psyched in particular for the Elite Undertaker, because I never picked up one of the many from JAKKS, and also because I think he’s going to make for some excellent custom fodder. But let’s get on to Salem Crow’s review.
*bells toll and organ music starts*
I’m back with another review of some of Mattel’s new WWE figures. This time I’m going to cover the Elite Series 1 figures of The Undertaker, CM Punk, and Rey Mysterio Jr.

It seems like Mattel tried to keep a similar theme as far as design goes, with the Jakks Deluxe Aggression box packaging, but added their spin on it. The sides and top of the package come apart easily enough, and fold down so you can free the figures from their prisons.
All of these figures fit in great with the Triple H I reviewed last time, which was a great move on Mattel’s part, that way you can mix and match the Elites with the basic figures. The upside to the Elites though, is the increased articulation. Each figure also comes with a figure stand with a tiny name plate that sticks in front of it.

DC Universe Classics Justice In The Jungle Two-Pack
Wow! Sure seems like Mattel was trying their best to make it a DCUC Christmas this year! By the beginning of December DCUC 10 was out in force at Wal-Marts all over the USA, DCUC 11 was en route to or even partially in stock with many comic stores and online dealers and on December 15th the new MattyCollector.com exclusive DCUC Justice In The Jungle 2 Pack went up for sale. If you haven’t heard, the current scuttlebutt from Mattel is that this will be the last 2 Pack Exclusive offered on MattyCollector. Hopefully Mattel will come up with a new format for offering exclusive DCUC figures or at least some of the older, hard to find ones.
