When we first saw that Hasbro would be making a Samuel L. Jackson-based Nick Fury for it’s 3.75-inch Iron Man 2 line, I wasn’t sure how it was going to make it to retail. So I was pleasantly surprised to ole Nick in an exclusive Toys R Us boxed set entitled Fury of Combat on the shelves this week.

G.I. Joe, Marvel, Star Wars, and Transformers – August Press Pics
Hasbro has shared a ton of pictures (293 of them!) of upcoming products across its boys toys lines – GI Joe, Marvel, Star Wars, and Transformers were all represented this time around. We’ll start with GI Joe, which have continued to impress us since their San Diego Comic-Con showing with figures of Beachhead and Alley Viper that Sandman picked up at retail recently.

San Diego Comic-Con Hasbro Exclusive Iron Man Mark VI and Mark III Mighty Muggs

Hasbro Marvel Mighty Muggs! They’re cute, beautifully detailed with sharp paint apps and remind me of SouthPark for some reason. I haven’t been sucked into rabid MU MM collecting, but I picked up my first at SDCC in 2008 – the Mark III from the first Iron Man movie (more on that in a bit). San Diego Comic-Con 2010 – Hasbro Marvel Panel – Iron Man Legends and Marvel Legends Reveals
During their Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con today, Hasbro announced that in 2011 we would see an Iron Man Legends 6-inch line with broad distribution. This would lead in to 2012, with a relaunch of Marvel Legends in the 6-inch scale.
Iron Man Legends
Long-time Marvel Legends fans will remember Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man – they were first announced at Toy Fair in 2009 and then were removed from their display booth before the opening of San Diego Comic-Con last year. We’ve seen test shots that were sold on eBay since then, but this is the first time we’ve seen Hasbro make a definitive statement that these will hit shelves – well, at least since the first time at Toy Fair.
