The Walking Dead Comic Series 2 on Sale Today Only at Entertainment Earth

I just checked into Entertainment Earth’s “Countdown to Black Friday” in which they offer a deal each day, usually only for that day. Today’s deal is for the Walking Dead Comic Series 2 – you can get individual figures for $9 each or the entire wave for $33.

I can’t believe how disgusting some of these figures are. Removable limbs? Intestines you can wiggle around? Nasty! This deal ends tonight at midnight.

Weekend Toy Run: The Walking Dead TV Series Four and More 20% Off at ToysRUs.com

Toys R Us can make it tough to shop at their online store. A lot of times they’ll show coupons online, but they’re only good in the bricks and mortar stores. This weekend, they’ve kindly made their 20% off sale good online too (with code SAVE20), but it’s only good on full-priced items. Luckily, the Walking Dead TV series 4 from McFarlane just arrived in stock, so it’s full price. At TRU prices, it’s a buck more than you can find it at some other retailers, but with the 20% off you can get each for $12 and change. Best of all, you can combine this with the free shipping for orders over $49.99.

If the Walking Dead isn’t your thing, you could also save on the Batman Classic TV Series action figures from Mattel. With the SAVE20 code, the figures are $15.99, the same price you can get them in other online stores – but TRU still has the Riddler in stock at the normal price, whereas other places like Amazon are sold out and only selling the Riddler through third party sellers for more.

The SAVE20 code expires today. Happy shopping!

Win McFarlane Toys Walking Dead Series 3 from MTV Geek

WALKING_DEAD_TOYS_575

MTV Geek has a great Twitter giveaway (of the standard follow and retweet variety) that ends on Friday, for a complete set of The Walking Dead Series 3, signed by Todd McFarlane. I saw the bloody Michonne plus Zombie Pets 3-pack at my local Toys R Us today, and it was priced at $39.99 – and individually, Michonne and co. are listed at $16.99 each on ToysRUs.com (saw none on the shelves), so this would be a sweet set to win.

McFarlane Toys The Walking Dead Series Four Preview Pics

McFarlane Toys announced the lineup for series 4 of their TV-based action figures for The Walking Dead, and thanks to BigBadToyStore we’ve got our first look at them. With Andrea, Carl, and the Governor, they’ve got some of the big hitters from season 3 of the show. The lineup also includes 2 more zombies (of which you can never have enough) and a 2-pack of the bad-ass brothers Merle and Daryl.

I know a few folks who didn’t pick up Daryl when they had the chance, so they’ll want to jump on this set and then customize a walker version of Merle if they’ve already got his single-packed figure.

Border Patrol: The Walking Dead

Did you catch The Walking Dead finale this weekend? Crazy, huh? Actually, I haven’t seen it yet, and hope to catch it soon on Netflix, late at night and in a dark room. Still, eBay customizers are looking to ride the zombie wave, with a fair amount of Walking Dead customs this week. And, to my dismay, some spoilers have come with them.

  • The Governor (1/6 scale) by leftoverzombies – ok, so I can’t complain much about seeing the Governor and his lost eye, since he’s been all over the previews – I still try to avoid them but it’s almost impossible if you watch any TV these days – he comes with a lot of accessories, least of which is the removable bandage revealing some gruesome details – ends Apr 05, 2013 18:05:36 PDT
  • Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon custom heads by numo – while not full customized figures, get these heads and you’ve got the most important parts of 1/6 scale customs – end Apr 04, 2013 11:12:30 PDT and Apr 04, 2013 11:08:16 PDT respectively

In AFP’s Border Patrol, we scour active eBay auctions for customized action figures that you won’t want to let slip by!
