Now that I’ve ventured into the Dark Side with Star Wars 1/6 with the upcoming premium Darth Vader, Boba Fett is high on my list of bounties. So on second thought, don’t enter, so I can win this for myself! The shadow of greed, that is.
The Medicom RAH 1/6 scale C-3P0 and R2-D2 figures, due in the 3rd quarter this year, are now available for pre-order. Both feature LED lights and articulation. R2-D2’s 3rd leg is retractable, and he can stand on 2 legs.
Are you a Lost fan? To celebrate the beginning of the end, Sideshow Collectibles is giving away a Medicom RAH Jack Shephard. It’s very easy to enter, so check it out! You’ll be able to enter until 5PM PT on Wednesday 2/3.

I knew I was on a slippery slope when I picked up the Medicom Real Action Heroes Dragonball Z Goku and Piccolo, regardless of how good of a deal I got at the time. So when I learned that Medicom would be making a VCD (that stands for Vinyl Collectible Dolls, but I can’t bring myself to put “Dolls” in the title of this article) Gohan, and that it would be coming with an alternate head for the RAH Piccolo, I admitted defeat.
Sideshow is importing the Gohan VCD, but when I asked, they told me that the package they are carrying does not include the Piccolo head. So off to Ebay I went, paying big international prices and shipping. I feel dirty.
As I mentioned last week in my mini-review of the Medicom Real Action Heroes Dragon Ball Z Son Gokou, I was able to pick up Piccolo and Goku for a relatively good price recently. Still, as someone used to paying around $10 for a super-articulated action figure, there was a bit of sticker shock. I was pretty impressed with Goku (Son Gokou in Japan), but to be honest it was Piccolo that was the bigger draw for me.
