The Amazing Spider-Man – Frenemies! – Bill’s Comics

The Amazing Spider-Man – Frenemies!

Carnage is back in town, and this time he’s out for more than just blood. So, what’s a Spider-Man to do, when even the police won’t lend him hand?

Yep, you guessed it – he has to turn to another of his most deadly enemies for help – Venom!

Don’t miss all the spine-tingling action in a tale that could only be called “Frenemies!” Sure, it could have been called something else, but “Spider-Man vs. Carnage, with some help from Venom!” just doesn’t roll off the tongue. 😀

Be sure to check out the rest of Bill’s work here at AFP and at Bill’s Comics. Also, thanks to Extreme-Sets for providing review samples of a wide variety of their diorama sets.

Win 1/6 Scale Star Wars Jango Fett and Boba Fett for Father’s Day from Sideshow Collectibles

Medicom Real Action Heroes Jango Fett Sideshow Boba Fett

Sideshow has got a great Star Wars themed giveaway for Father’s Day – you could win 1/6 scale versions of father and son, Jango Fett and Boba Fett. Never mind that Jango is from the Medicom Real Action Heroes line and Boba is from Sideshow (meaning slightly different scales) – this would be a cool contest to win. Enter by June 10.

Now that I’ve ventured into the Dark Side with Star Wars 1/6 with the upcoming premium Darth Vader, Boba Fett is high on my list of bounties. So on second thought, don’t enter, so I can win this for myself! The shadow of greed, that is.

The Amazing Spider-Man and the Dark Knight Launch New Super-Articulated 1/12 Action Figure Line from Medicom

Medicom has had modest success with its 1/6 scale Real Action Hero line but they are now looking to turn the 1/12 scale on its head with its new MAFEX line of action figures, as highlighted in this blog post at Featuring super-articulation, great sculpts, and accessories, these figures promise to be the best in class in 6 inches (6.3 inches to be precise) – sorry Hasbro and Mattel! Of course these are going to be import figures only, for those of us in the US – so you shouldn’t be expecting mass market action figure prices either.

These are available to pre-order now on the site:

At 2,820 JPY, they are roughly $36 and change each, not including overseas shipping. They’re listed with an expected April 2013 release date.
