WWE Defining Moments Randy Savage and Shawn Michaels Packaged Pics

I am wondering if the new WWE Defining Moments in 2011 replaces the Entrance Greats from this year. If so, I think this is a step in the right direction from Mattel – replacing the electronic stands with Elite style articulation.

Speaking of Entrance Greats, we’ll have a look at the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase coming up tomorrow morning. Enjoy!

Hot Toys Iron Man 2 Whiplash

Fwoosher moldie13 is back with a review of the recently released Hot Toys Whiplash from Iron Man 2. He previously reviewed the 3A Toys WWRp Armstrong 8-pack, making me wish I had the desert close by for some outdoor shots.

Over the past few years it’s been difficult to ignore the pull of the old twelve-inch scale market. As popular franchises get better and more detailed treatment, the collective bank accounts of action figure fiends across the globe groan under the weight of the threat.

With its Iron Man 2 license, Hot Toys upped the ante with their Mark IV design and War Machine. They’re great, surely enough, but not my speed.

Enter Whiplash, the gruesome marvel incarnation of that slab of wreckage that is Mickey Rourke.

Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum have their own AOA Minimates 4-pack for New York Comic Con. This set features Age of Apocalypse versions of Wolverine, Jean Grey, Apocalypse and Dark Beast. Want more? They also announced an ActionFigureXpress exclusive set including Magneto, Rogue, Cyclops, and Sunfire over the weekend.

AFX New York Comic Con Exclusive Age of Apocalypse Minimates

I was on a self-imposed hiatus from comics when AOA came out, but have tried to read it recently and still don’t get the appeal. The designs are interesting, though, and I do like the AOA Sunfire design that eventually made it into 616.
