Four Horsemen Reveal Next Seventh Kingdom Figures – D’zwirra, Ccora, and Oktobria

In the third installment of the Four Horsemen’s 7th Kingdom reveals, we’ve got three more figures.  Some more very cool color variations for the cats.  We’ll wrap this up tomorrow with the final three!

THE QUEEN AND HER COURT – PART 3

The past couple of days of “The Queen and Her Court”, have introduced you to a few of the warrior women from the Four Horsemens’ fan-favorite property, “7th Kingdom”. Today will be no different as we bring to you three more fatal female furies.

Each of today’s offerings will be made available through a different online retailer, toy news website, or action figure magazine.

First up we have the Bengal beauty to be offered through various Wizard Magazine: Wizard World conventions (http://www.WizardWorld.com) later this year – D’zwirra.

Next we have the steel siren – Ccora. Ccora will be carried by online toy retailer, Corner Store Comics (http://www.CornerStoreComics.com), and like all of the other exclusive variants, will be extremely limited.

Our final lady for today wields the coldest claws of any of the feline warrior women – Oktobria. Not only will Oktobria be offered through October Toys’ (http://www.OctoberToys.com) own website, but October Toys will also have her for sale at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con.

All three of these warrior women will each wield a deadly spear, and a razor sharp small sword. The price of each figure will be determined by each individual retailer in the near future. At a later date, all three of these figures as well as the five previously introduced figures will also be available in a complete set along with all of the other yet-to-be-revealed exclusive variants only through Store Horsemen (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com).

Be sure to check back tomorrow when we’ll introduce the final three femme fatales of the 7th Kingdom!

So, I hope that the pictures do most of the talking for this figure. Hordak sold out in about an hour on Monday and I truly expect for MAA to follow suit. Be on www.mattycollector.com right on time on July 15th. This figure is the real deal and might be the best overall figure Mattel has done. Maybe ever. Seriously.

In the second installment of the Four Horsemen’s 7th Kingdom reveals, we’ve got three more figures.  I’m somewhat partial to The Fwoosh’s offering – I helped choose it!

THE QUEEN AND HER COURT – PART 2

AFP’s Ask Matty Round-Up for 6/15/9

UPDATE: Before we get to the Q&A, Toy Guru just posted a Facebook update on MOTU Classics Hordak and DCUC Luthor and Ultraman – both products sold out within two hours this morning.  DC fans – more of that two-pack is on the way, but Hordak fans will need to wait for a reissue.  Here’s the full text:

Update on Hordak and Alex Luthor/Ultraman sale

Hey toy fans,

Just to give everyone the latest info from today’s sale of MOTUC Hordak and DCUC Alex Luthor and Ultraman two pack!

1: Ultraman and Luthor (much like Mer-Man) came over on two different shipments. We sold through our first shipment pretty quick, but never fear DC fans, more are on the way – most lilkely by the end of next week. We’ll keep you updated as we confirm an on sale date for this second batch.

2: As for Hordak, well he has been our most successful figure yet. We produced as many Hordak’s as we did Zodac and Mer-Man, but he also sold out faster than any other figure! Just goes to show the power of the Horde lives!

We will continue to increase numbers and adjust as needed on a figure by figure basis. We are well aware of which figure are more popular (i.e. Zodac vs. Hordak) and will continue to do our best to adjust production without the dreaded line-killing over-production option. And yes, in time Hordak will be back for a second run much like we are doing with He-Man and Skeletor in the fall.

And keep in mind that the full 12 figure MOTUC subscription for 2010 will be available in July starting at SDCC (you can even sign up right in our booth if you are at the show!). This is the best method to guarantee you get every figure. And as a bonus, the 2010 subscription will include extra items only available to subscribers (and there will be a nominal fee to cover this). more details will be revealed in San Diego.

Next up is Man-At-Arms on July 15. After that, see you in San Diego!

Now, here’s the latest round of Q&A with Mattel. Thanks again to Toy Guru!

We know SDCC is almost upon us and you’ll be saving up reveals for the show, so we’ll keep our questions light for this session.  We’ll start with a couple of questions about the DC properties.

1. Of the figures that have made it or will make it to the shelves, which ones are your favorites and why?  (If your favorite is in production but hasn’t been announced yet, feel free to give us a hint.)

  • DCUC:  Green Arrow tends to be a favorite around here. The new hand articulation really works for Ollie!
  • DCIH: The SDCC 3 ¾” Anti Monitor is way cool. And you can get one free with 50 AntiMonitor points at the show.
  • JLU: Blackhawk and Amanda Waller are both personal favorites. To get them both in JLU style is just a thrill.

Four Horsemen Reveal Next Seventh Kingdom Figures – Queen Alluxandra and Isadorra

The Four Horsemen have released images and a write-up for their latest entries in their 7th Kingdom line of figures.  I’m really looking forward to the rest of this week, when they’ll be revealing all of the different variants and the various online retailers and websites that are participating.  While Alluxandra was on display at San Diego Comic-Con last year, I don’t think Isadorra had been widely shown before today, and I’m pretty impressed that they were really able to get two very distinct figures out of the same basic buck.  Should be fun revealing the rest of the figures!

THE QUEEN AND HER COURT

Production of the Four Horsemen’s latest action figure offering  from their property “7th Kingdom” is in full swing and are expected to ship from the factory early next week. “Queen Alluxandra of the Bluddmane Clan” is the main character in this latest wave of figures from the Horsemen and in keeping with Four Horsemen tradition, she won’t be arriving by herself.

As with previous Seventh Kingdom Releases (Xetheus and Ramathorr), a group of exclusive variants of the main character have been created and will be offered through various online retailers, toy news websites, and action figure magazines.

Over the next four days (including today) the Four Horsemen will release images of Queen Alluxandra and her variants, and will also reveal the name of each character and where that figure can be purchased.

On Friday some of these figures will go up for pre-order on some of the retailers’ websites, and next week you’ll have the opportunity to pre-order the complete set of exclusives through the Four Horsemen’s own online retail outlet: Store Horsemen (http://www.StoreHorsemen.com).

These first two figures are going to be available only through the Four Horsemen themselves: “Queen Alluxandra of the Bluddmane Clan” and “Isadorra of the Ironspynne Clan”.

Both figures will come with their respective scepters, and each will also wield a battle sword for when diplomacy just doesn’t do the trick. Queen Aluxandra will also carry a removable dagger.

Each figures will retail for $20.00 and both will be available from the Four Horsemen at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con and through Store Horsemen.
