NECA Hunger Games Catching Fire In Stock at BBTS

Catching Fire opens this Friday November 22. Back in July it was announced NECA would produce Catching Fire action figures for Katniss, Peeta and Finnick. Now they’re available and in stock at BigBadToyStore and temporarily out of stock at Entertainment Earth. You can get Katniss and Peeta separately or buy the trio as a set… and if you buy them all, maybe you can put it out of your mind that in the movie Jennifer Lawrence is a head taller than & towering over tiny little Josh Hutcherson, but I digress…

Masters of the Universe Classics Castle Grayskull Shipping and Day of Sales Update

Mattel has shared info for its upcoming Masters of the Universe Classics Castle Grayskull shipments, as well as the day of sales plan for those of you looking to pick up one for your collection. The plan is to ship between 11/22 and 1/15, but at this point there’s no way to know when your Castle(s) will ship. For day of, it’ll be offered first during Early Access on 12/12, and if there’s any left, it’ll be up on 12/16. The cost before shipping will be $300.

ThreeA Toys Shares More Iron Man Pics and Marvel News

It’s been over half a year since we saw the initial teaser for the 3A Toys Iron Man, so we were overdue for some updates. The pics of the prototype look good, and give a better view of how the hidden articulation (like in the elbows and knees) will look, or not look, as the case may be.

I’m also pleased with the other characters they’re making – I think with the exaggerated limbs, Spidey will look especially nice.

Ashley Wood been given the liberty to make his own version of ICONIC Marvel characters, currently we can reveal that aside of IRON MAN, we are working on ULTRON, DR. DOOM and SPIDERMAN.

We are planning to offer IRON MAN for pre-order in December 2013 (all depends how fast everything will be approved).

Argh! – I Missed a Shot at Marvel Legends Blade at Walmart.com

I have been missing out on online opportunities recently. The other day, I missed a chance at the Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Rocksteady and Bebop. And now, I missed a shot at a Marvel Legends Blade at Walmart.com. It’s been a while, but you may recall that Hasbro originally planned running change variants for the “bonus” 3rd wave of ML at the end of last year – and one of the variants was a swap-out of Punisher for Blade.

Our good pal Paul sent us the picture above with a brief explanation:

Just wanted to give a heads up that local walmarts are seeing the Rocket Raccoon series here in GA. The figures were available online at walmart.com but are out of stock now. I did find this interesting though, researching the figures online I found the elusive Blade that was a variant to punisher. I instantly thought “it’s probably really the punisher with the red skull” but then I noticed the price slightly higher than the rest of the figures plus, my local stores have the punisher with the red skull at the standard retail at $14.97 not $22.95. Maybe it is wishful thinking that I can finally get my hands on this variant but I took the bait and purchased one. Hope all is well and good luck.

DC Collectibles Reveals New 52 Teen Titans Kid Flash, Superboy, and Wonder Girl

DC Collectibles has been playing the Spoiler Alert game over the past week, and have revealed a trio of New 52 Teen Titans. Pretty tricksy, DCC – three figures instead of one was a pretty clever way of confusing the folks guessing, but there were still a few that put it all together.

Big question is this – where’s Robin? Will he round out a wave of these figures, or are these three it for now? I guess the answer will be in the upcoming solicits.

We’ve reached the end and are ready to unveil what we’ve been teasing the last few day: DC COMICS — THE NEW 52 TEEN TITANS: KID FLASH, SUPERBOY & WONDER GIRL ACTION FIGURES. How many of you guessed correctly? What do you think?
