Entertainment Earth’s Black Friday 5-Day Sale Started Today

Geeze – I’ve been checking the Entertainment Earth website all month for their daily deals, and I almost forgot to check the start of their Black Friday Week 5-Day Sale, which kicked off today. The sale works like this: they’ve got a bunch of items (78 when I checked) that are on sale for the next 5 days, as well as items that are only on sale for that particular day. There’s six additional items up for sale today.

With a sale like this, there’s usually something for everybody. I pulled the trigger on some Square Enix Play Arts Kai figures that I’ve been eyeing for a while. Here’s What to Expect from Mattycollector Cyber Monday Sale Today

I am still trying to wrap my head around why this eight day sale is called Cyber Monday, but I probably don’t have the mental faculties required to comprehend it. But if you’re heading over to Mattycollector for it, here’s what you can expect to find. When I checked late last night in Early Access, I found only one item had sold out – that was the Masters of the Universe Classics Granymyr for $68 (normally $85). For a lot of folks, that discount would have amounted to free shipping, because that sucker is heavy. Congrats to the Early Access folks who picked him up.

Some of the remaining deals jumped out at me. The Eternian Palace Guards 2-pack didn’t show up for me when I looked in the morning, but they’re there at the top of the page now – and for $27, half off the regular (bumped up) cost of $54. Also half off, and an exceptionally good deal is Battleground Teela – just $10. If you don’t have her, get her!

For those of you who have been holding out for San Diego Comic-Con exclusives – all of the action figure exclusives (except for Monster High, if you count those) are available and on sale. Rokkon and Stonedar, Batusi Batman, big-hooded Captain Marvel, Man of Steel, and even the mini He-Man and Skeletor figures are there. This year I skipped on all of them, except for the MOTU mini-figures, and even on sale I’m probably letting them go. How about you guys? What’s on your list for Matty Cyber Monday?

Border Patrol: Marvel Legends Beta Ray Bill, Nova Prime, and Wonder Man

This week, I found some more custom Marvel Legends that I’d like to have in my collection.

Marvel Legends Beta Ray Bill by Leech Customs – whether you prefer the Marvel Select Thor or the newer Marvel Legends Thor, the problem is that your Beta Ray Bill from back in the Toy Biz days is now a bit undersized – I’ve been thinking for a while about transposing some parts onto a newer Wrecking Crew body, and now I can see it will work out just great – as an added bonus, Stormbreaker has been enhanced with a very nice handle that hangs the way it should, no matter what position the hammer is in – ends Nov 28, 2013 18:54:15 PST
Marvel Legends Nova Prime by Draubner – there’s some really nice sculpting work on the armor pieces added to this custom, and the paint work is nice too – comes with alternate unmasked head and a custom base – ends today, Nov 26, 2013 07:40:37 PST
