I have a bias for super-articulated figures, so for the DC Comics brand, I tend to favor Mattel’s DC Universe Classics line over similar offerings from DC Direct / DC Collectibles. But one thing I do concede – DCD dives a lot deeper into the comics world for their character selection. Here’s eight crazy deals on DCD figures that you will probably never see offered in the DC Universe Classics line. • DC Direct Blackest Night: Series 7: Black Lantern Terra with Scar Action Figure – $6.40 (Prime) – I’d pay more for just a Scar figure, so getting Terra at this price is a bonus
• DC Direct Green Lantern Series 4: Green Lantern Hal Jordan (Power Glow) Action Figure – $7.95 (Prime) – Hal Jordan has been done in DCUC, but I don’t think we’ll ever get a translucent green comic book version
• DC Direct Batman Incorporated: Batman: Man of Bats Action Figure – $9.95 (Prime) – I have a hardcover collection of Batman stories that featured the original Man of Bats comic, so I’ll be glad to have him
