This wave of Minimates will round out the supporting cast that returned from the first movie, with Heimdall, Darcy, and Selvig. Selvig will come with his No Pants Friday alternate legs.
Darcy and Selvig will come with army builder Dark Elves, and Thor, Loki, and Malekith round out the assortment, naturally. These Thor Minimates are expected at comic book shops and specialty retailers in just a few weeks. Thor accepts your surrender.

YesAnime has shared some more pics of the Play Imaginative Super Alloy Iron Man line – this time of the quarter scale Mark 42 armor that will be going up for pre-order soon. This 18-inch diecast figure will come with a bunch of accessories – pristine and battle-damaged armor pieces, four pairs of hands, and four heads to start. Included will be the fantastic Pepper Potts / Gwyneth Paltrow head sculpt from her “Rescue” moment in Iron Man 3.
There’s a lot of value here, but is it enough to warrant the $600 – $700 price tag that’s expected? What do you think?

With Thor: The Dark World set to hit an $84MM opening weekend in the US, on top of a strong international box office the past couple of weeks, I wonder if Hasbro feels the whoosh of an opportunity passing them by. Back at San Diego Comic-Con, we asked the brand and design team if they had plans for Thor Marvel Legends – in short, they said no.
And while they have brought Marvel Universe-scaled Thor figures to the market, there’s a lot more they could have done with Legends.
Entertainment Earth has got a great deal on selected Marvel Select figures today for $12.99 each as part of their Countdown to Black Friday daily sales. This is a great price on some of the larger, more popular figures to come out, like Rhino and Sabretooth. Happy shopping!
