Masters of the Universe Classics Panthor and Weapons Pak and Rack Press Pics

Mattel revealed a couple more Masters of the Universe Classics items – first, the March monthly figure, Panthor! I’m a little confused by the naming convention – Battle Cat was listed as an over-sized figure with a $30 price tag, and I’d expected the same for Panthor. We’ll find out the deal here.

The Great Wars Weapons Pak is coming out in November, and the Weapons Rack is due sometime next Spring.

Mattel Reveals Green Lantern Classics Wave 2

Mattel is not present at New York Comic Con – since they moved the show permanently to October, it conflicts with most companies’ planning for Fall Toy Fair. But that didn’t stop them from releasing these images of two-ups for Green Lantern Classics wave 2. We’d been told previously that the Red Lanterns from this wave, revealed as Skallox and a newly-named Night Lik, will come in one package with interchangeable parts. We’ll find out it B’dg, Dex-Starr, and Despotellis will come as pack-ins or as a 3-pack.

Toy Guru must be thrilled – with the Eternian Palace Guard from Masters of the Universe Classics, the Red Lantern Night Lik will be the second time he’s being immortalized in plastic – his last name is Neitlich, coincidentally! 🙂

Mattel WWE Toys R Us Exclusive Bushwhackers and More Quick Pics

Mattel WWE - The Bushwhackers.JPG

To be perfectly honest, even though the Bushwhackers came from the era of wrestling that I watched and enjoyed, I was never that big of a fan. They were more of a comedy act that I found amusing at first, but quickly tired of it.

That said, I must now acknowledge that as far as all the wrestling figures I have in my collection, which includes a bunch of old Hasbro WWF figures, JAKKS Pacific WWE figures, and the new figures from Mattel, the Bushwhackers are now at the top of the heap. They’re just captured perfectly in plastic here.

Mattel WWE Legends Series 4 Press Pics

It’s a Mattel WWE day. Earlier, Buzzy posted his review of the Basic Series 6 Kelly Kelly, and here we’ve got some advanced pics of Legends Series 4. One of my goals with this line is to put together the lineup of the awesome WWF Wrestlefest arcade game from way back when (1991?) – that means I’ll need Crush from Demolition too.

And I’m pretty damn psyched about getting an Ultimate Warrior from Mattel!

Kelly Kelly Prowls The Night On Her Crusade Against Evil! Okay, maybe not...

I was checking up on the Action Figure aisle at the local Super Wally yesterday when this hottie caught my eye > Kelly Kelly from Mattel’s WWE Basic Series 6!

I’m not a fan of professional wrestling (especially not without Gordon Solie around anymore!) and I have absolutely no idea who Kelly Kelly is, but being a customizer I’m always on the look out for decent female action figures because, well, they’re few and far between – and even the decent ones have their issues. So I thought I’d roll the dice, pick up Kelly and see what could be done with her. Before I tear her apart though, I’ll go over the Pros and Cons for anyone interested in her.
