Silly me! When I first posted our NYCC Marvel Universe coverage, and even after I posted updated pictures after Hasbro’s Saturday reveals, I didn’t notice the Giant-Size X-Men package tucked away into the back of the display case. But it’s there, and I talked to the Hasbro folks about it on Sunday.

With one of Hasbro’s display cases at New York Comic Con devoted to the Captain America and Thor lines, the other was jam-packed with Marvel Universe. There’s lots more on the way in 2011, and we’ve focused on the figures that weren’t on display in the Hasbro booth at San Diego Comic-Con.

It’s been quite a wait since we the last wave of Marvel Legends 2-packs. We posted our last review, of the Dum Dum Dugan and Sharon Carter 2-pack, almost exactly a year ago. Now the latest set of 2-packs, featuring Valkyrie and Hulk, Black Widow and Winter Soldier, and Deadpool and Warpath, are hitting Toys R Us stores. I don’t have these in hand yet, but gunbuster718 of the Fwoosh was kind enough to share his pictures. I’ll write up some quick thoughts but will reserve judgment until I have my own set to review.
