I must have this. I hadn’t started sliding head first down the slippery slope of 1/6 scale figures when Enterbay made their Fist of Fury Bruce Lee, and I think the Hot Toys Enter the Dragon Bruce Lee may be the superior figure in terms of likeness and value. Two heads, each with the Parallel Eyeball Rolling System (PERS)? Two costumes? Two dioramas? Fourteen (!) hands?

I’ll admit that while I was impressed with DC Direct’s Arkham Asylum and Brightest Day figures, I didn’t spend a lot of time at their display. So Fwoosh’s TheGDBatman was kind enough to send me some more pics – most notably, the Return of Bruce Wayne figures that I somehow completely missed. He also sent over some pics from the lines that I did get, including Arkham Asylum, Blackest Night, Brightest Day, and even some of the statues on display there.

With paint still drying, Hasbro put out these prototypes from their upcoming Marvel movie lines on Sunday, the last day of San Diego Comic-Con. They showed Captain America, from Captain America: The First Avenger, and Thor, Odin, and Loki, from Thor.

I’ve already posted what we had for Marvel Masterworks / Gigantic Battles and the SHIELD Hover Car that was in the Marvel Universe diorama, and finally I’m putting up our pics of the single-carded and 2-packs for Marvel Universe. Sorry it took so long – there were just so many figures and pics we had that it took a while to get them processed.

I know that the announcement of Marvel Legends in 2012 was big news at the Hasbro Marvel panel for a lot of long-time Marvel action figure fans, but Hasbro also announced some big items, literally, for this year and next. As you know, Hasbro introduced the Marvel Masterworks line with a 19-inch Galactus, as a blister-carded exclusive at San Diego Comic-Con.
In October, Galactus will hit at retail in different packaging. He’ll include a Marvel Universe Silver Surfer, and will also be available in a variant deco based on his appearance in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance game.
