It’s great to see more new video game action figures from NECA, and it looks like they’re continuing to try out various articulation schemes.
It’s How You Play…
…But with our new videogame action figures, we still win
2011 is off to a furious start and your friends here at NECA are rested and relaxed after a long holiday break. Oh wait, no we’re not.
That’s right. While you were knee-deep in egg nog and wearing glasses with funny numbers on them, we were working the entire time to continue to bring you all things awesome, and no doubt you’ll find our new action figures from the videogames Borderlands, Crysis 2, Bulletstorm and Splinter Cell: Conviction more than fit the bill.
We’ve got a lot to go through here, folks, so here’s the goods:

Ashley Woods of 3A Toys has some nice words and a few sneak peeks at the start of the New Year for the folks who are collecting their toys. I’m very psyched for the WWRp Noir de Plumes that look to be coming soon.
The Four Horsemen have completed another round of Scary Shots, so it’s time for another recap – this time they’ve revealed how each variant is going to be laid out in the blisters.
It’s very cool that every variant is going to include a Scarabus head, and Scarabus himself will get two variant face plates.
Scarabus
Demonic Scarabus
Dormant Scarabus
Anubos
Azazel
Haures
Horos
Melchom
Nergall
Thothos
These are the Photoshopped images that we sent off to the factory, to give them an idea of just how we wanted the blisters laid out. Now you get to see them and also get to find out just which face-plates/heads go with which variant versions of Scarabus!
I’m assuming that this is labeled the “standard” head, that there’ll be some variants, and that they’ll be packed randomly since they’re packaged separately from the TKs. We’ll see!
