I was psyched to get an armful of figures from Mattel after their collector event on Sunday, including a nearly complete set of Green Lantern Classics Wave 2. These all had stickers on the back of the package labeled “PI” – I think that might indicate some product imperfections. But I’m not complaining at all – the only thing I noticed was on Nite-Lik – he does not have a Red Lantern logo on his chest underneath the head piece, so he won’t be able to be displayed as Skallox.
I’ve still got our pics from Mattel’s Toy Fair Collector Event to publish, but in the meantime, here’s an official press release with video from Warner Bros.

So, let me come clean – we missed Bandai at Toy Fair. It’s my fault too – the show room was by appointment only, and I didn’t actually make any appointments this year.
Luckily, Bandai PR came to the rescue, with a well-timed press release. Read on for the complete release and a video of the toys.
With Toy Fair underway, I almost forgot about the MattyCollector sale day for February. It’s an all Masters of the Universe Classics day, and Bow is the headliner. Don’t forget to pop in the heart-shaped chest emblem for your favorite Valentine. DC Direct has sent out their solicitations for February. Most of the Green Lantern items are scheduled to be available in stores next June, to leverage the movie. The remaining items are mostly due in October, which would be the normal DCD delivery schedule. This is the second month in a row that there’s no DC Comics-related action figures this month.
