NYCC 2015: Hasbro Official Marvel, Star Wars, and Transformers Reveals

Hasbro has shared official pics for their reveals at the ‘Twas the Night Before… Party kicking off New York Comic Con. They’ve included shots from Marvel Legends (both 6-inch and 3.75-inch – we’ll continue to refer to the smaller scale as Marvel Universe), Star Wars: the Black Series, and various Transformers waves.

They have more in store for Star Wars (their biggest reveals were not part of the officially released pics), and highlighted that in 2016, Transformers branding will transition from Combiner Wars to a new theme: Titans Returns, Part 2 of the just-announced Prime Wars Trilogy.

NYCC 2015: Hasbro Marvel and Star Wars Reveals (with AFP video fly-by)

As has been their tradition for the last few year, Hasbro kicked off NYCC 2015 with their ‘Twas the Night Before… Party, revealing new items from their action figure brands. We took a look at their Marvel and Star Wars lines, with a focus on their 6-inch figures in Marvel Legends and the Black Series from Star Wars. And we got to chat with our long-time friend, Jesse Falcon, from the Marvel licensing team.

Who is Your Pick for the Hasbro Marvel Legends Fans Choice Poll?

Hasbro is conducting a new Fans Choice poll for Marvel Legends on the Marvel.com site. The four finalists, Darkhawk, Angela, Symbiote Spider-Man, and Mysterio, were selected by fans from an initial set of 16 choices at the Hasbro booth at San Diego Comic-Con. To rock the vote, Marvel offered up the chance to win a Stan Lee autographed SDCC-exclusive Marvel Infinite Series (nee Marvel Universe) Ant-Man set if you retweeted their announcement of the poll. (The winner was to be the 100th person to retweet, and there’ve been many more who’ve RT’d already.)

SDCC 2015: Marvel Reveals Ant-Man Exclusives

I am at the airport, so excuse any typos. Hasbro has just revealed more Marvel exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con, for the upcoming Ant-Man movie. The pair of exclusives feature a multi-pack of Ant-Men, presumably in scale with Marvel Universe figures (but with a size-changer, does it matter?) and a very cool tiny Ant-Man that comes packaged in a Pym-branded matchbook.

Border Patrol: Marvel Netflix Daredevil Edition

For this edition of Border Patrol, we’ve got three custom action figures from the kick-ass Netflix Daredevil series:

Marvel Legends Netflix Daredevil (battle-damaged) and Nobu (the Hand) by moomoo1366: This pair of figures are being sold separately but would make a great 2-pack. I’ve seen quite a few black-suited Daredevil customs, but this is the first with battle-damage. Fitting, because it’s Nobu from the Hand who messed him up. Marvel Universe Netflix Daredevil by mac-delo: Because, why should Legends fans have all the fun? This is one of the cleanest 3.75-inch DD customs I’ve seen. Ends Friday, May 29 at 7:31PM PST.
