The giveaway, which will start at 2PM PST tomorrow, will consist of five Iron Man questions. The first to respond with the correct answers to all five questions will win an Iron Man cold cast bronze statue by Sideshow. The statue stands 20.5 inches tall, and normally sells for $299.99 – so channel your inner Tony Stark, boot up Jarvis, or do whatever you have to do to take home the gold bronze! Good luck!
Not sure how long this is going to last, but right now LEGO sets are BOGO50 – buy one, get one for half price at ToysRUs.com. This covers almost every set, including those in Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, Marvel, DC, Lone Ranger, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more – even their girlie Lego Friends sets if pastels are your thing.
There’s a handful of sets that are already deeply discounted so those won’t count, but there’s still big sets like the Millennium Falcon and Jabba’s Palace that you could combine for some pretty big savings. I’m not sure if these qualify for the free shipping for purchases over $79 deal, but if they do, that wouldn’t be that hard to do with LEGO. 😀 Happy shopping!
Although I fancy myself more of a HYDRA type guy, I may pick up one of these NYCC exclusive SHIELD badges just in case I need to bluff my way onto the Helicarrier. You can pre-order the Phil Coulson SHIELD badge (made of metal and molded from the ones used on the upcoming TV series) and ID card from EFX Collectibles and pick it up at NYCC. Or, if you aren’t going, they’ll ship it to you.

Here’s another look at the Super Alloy 1/12 scale Hammer Drones from Iron Man 2. Play Imaginative first revealed these at the Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention. If their specs match up with the other 1/12 scale Iron Man figures, they should be around 80% diecast, and come in around $100 and change.
