WWE Legends Series 2 In Stock at ToysRUs.com

As I was checking out the BOGOHO deal on the Marvel Legends Skrull and Kree 2-packs at ToysRUs.com, I came across something that I haven’t yet seen in stores – Mattel WWE Legends Series 2. Ok, that’s not exactly true. I’ve seen Jake the Snake Roberts and Kamala the Ugandan Giant, but the Mattel figures had been removed and been replaced with WWE figures from JAKKS Pacific. Sigh.

This wave includes: Jake the Snake Roberts, Kamala the Ugandan Giant, the Iron Shiek, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, Ravishing Rick Rude, and Terry Funk.

I’m late to work after placing my order, so here’s a quick link to all the WWE Legends Series 2 figures at ToysRUs.com, who were all in stock last I checked for $14.99 each.

AFP Ask Matty Round-Up for 9/15/10

Hey folks – a new installment of Ask Matty is here – thanks to the folks at Mattel!

1) At AFP we’ve picked up all of the Toys R Us exclusive DC Universe Classics All-Star repaints. Who is the final one this year – is it the Joker, or Nightwing, or are both coming eventually? Will All-Star repaints continue into next year, and what are the chances of a Super Powers-colored Wonder Woman and a lighter blue colored Superman (both seen on eBay)?

Joker and a new Nightwing are in the wings to head out next, and the repaints will continue into 2011 at about one per quarter. Just which ones remains to be seen!

Mattel’s Legends line for WWE is really picking up steam. Mr. Perfect is one of my favorite wrestlers from that long past era, so it’s great to see him get a Mattel figure.

Sgt. Slaughter and Dusty Rhodes to Appear Today at Kmart WWE Hall of Fame Events

Mattel had previously announced the WWE Hall of Fame collector events today at Kmart, but there will also be two in-store special appearances. Sgt. Slaughter will appear in Gastonia, North Carolina, and Dusty Rhodes in Tampa, Florida. More details are in the official announcement.
