DC Universe Classics Wave 14 Hitting Wal-Mart

No, this isn’t a picture I took from a scalper – it’s the haul of Fwoosher Xavion2004, who has been fortunate enough to help out fellow Fwooshers in the Florida area – and one extremely lucky guy in NorCal :).

It was just about two weeks ago when we first posted packaged pics of DC Universe Classics wave 14. At the time, trs told us to expect the wave to hit in two weeks. And folks across the country have been finding cases in stores – we’ve got Xavion in the east, MattK in the west, and Robokillah in the middle – he didn’t post pics but I’ll vouch for him!

We should have pics soon – Buzzy is picking up his set this weekend. In the meantime, check out Buzzy’s review of Hourman, from a review sample from Mattel. And come back on Monday, when we’ll have a special guest review of Zatanna from MattK.

Marvel Select Magneto Packaged Pics

I really think the Marvel Select figures have been improving lately, and Magneto is no exception.

I’m not sure that a simple alternate head makes for a great variant though. I miss the days when that would just be a pack-in accessory.

Here it is, hot of the presses. Marvel Select Magneto should be hitting stores any minute now in two different versions! Get the helmeted version everbody knows and loves but also be on the lookout for the variant unmasked edition! Look for it at a comic store near you!

three A Toys A.B.C Warriors Mongrol Preview

I don’t know much about about 2000 AD beyond Judge Dredd, but ABC Warriors looks like it’s right in threeA’s wheelhouse. I’m looking forward to Hammerstein!

2000 AD Mongrol will hit us in January 2011. It means that currently we don’t know what will be available from 3A in December and it’s certainly very exciting. I personally hope for Grunts, though it’s kinda impossible. Check out Mongrol arms, it’s going to be a piece of art.
