Hasbro Marvel Legends 2013 Wave 2 Pre-Orders Are Up

Pre-orders for the next wave of Marvel Legends are popping up. I saw cases of Hasbro Marvel Legends 2013 Wave 2 on Entertainment Earth and BigBadToyStore. BBTS also has sets of five. The case packouts are listed with eight figures as follows: Scarlet Spider (2), Wrecker, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Jean Grey, with Ultimate Captain America and Punisher re-releases. The sets of five feature one each of just the new characters.

One oddity that I’ve sent a question about to the Hasbro PR team – no mention of the Rocket Raccoon mini-Build-a-Figure. And since I was writing them anyways, I also asked if the running change variants (Deadpool, Dr. Doom, Dani Moonstar, Iron Fist, and Sentry) from the previous waves were still coming. Not cause to worry about an MIA Rocket Raccoon yet – I don’t think the verbiage for previous waves mentioned him – but BBTS did show the Hit Monkey parts in the product pictures.

ThreeA Toys TKLUB Two NAGE M.I.A Up For Pre-Order Today, 3AA-Only Isobelle Pascha Coming Soon

The second 3A Toys TKLUB figure, which was revealed about two weeks ago, is up for pre-order today. Available only to 3AA members, Nage M.I.A will be up on Bambaland for about 24 hours, starting at 9PM EST. This is the second of 3 figures you’ll have to get to get the special Mook (magazine / book?) for The Art of TK.

TKLUB #2 second release: NAGE M.I.A goes up for pre-order on May 9th, 9:00AM Hong Kong time for 120USD. TKLUB releases are for 3AA members only.

DC Collectibles Reveals Doomsday for 3.75-Inch Injustice Line, Paired with Catwoman for 2-Pack

DC Collectibles has been posting teasers for the past couple days on the DC Collectibles Facebook page and finally unveiled the upcoming figure. It’s Doomsday, from the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game, and he will be part of DCC’s 3.75-inch line of figures. Joining Doomsday in the two-pack is Catwoman – I don’t think we’ve seen pictures of her action figure yet.

So far, there are 26 playable characters, including Lobo, who is the first DLC for the game. So far, DC Collectibles has 14 announced for this line, including: Aquaman, Black Adam, Catwoman, Cyborg, Deathstroke, Doomsday, Flash, Green Arrow, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Raven, Solomon Grundy, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

That leaves: Ares, Bane, Batgirl, Batman, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Joker, Killer Frost, Lex Luthor, Lobo, Shazam, and Sinestro. I think there’s enough heavy hitters left to deliver all of these in 2-packs, as long as the initial line-up does well. How are you guys liking this line so far?

ThreeA Toys Official Teaser for Invincible Iron Man, Marvel Series One Release One

We got our first look at 3A Toys’ Invincible Iron Man prototype over the weekend thanks to kadoo on the 3A Forums, who spotted the teaser poster at a convention in Asia. With the cat out of the bag, 3A posted the official teaser image on the 3A Blog last night. (Click the image for the full size view.)

Based on my first viewing I thought that this was still in its early stages, because the image notes that it’s not final, plus I didn’t see any articulation in the elbows (the knees are in the shadows). But Ashley Wood confirmed that the figure is already fully articulated – but that the joints won’t be visible. Some folks are wondering if that means that joints like the elbows and knees will have rubber sheaths to hide them – I think that’s likely the only way those types of joints could be hidden. Other points of articulation, like shoulders, hips, and torso, will probably take advantage of the design and sculpt to obscure them.

One other detail – the figure will clock in at around 13 inches tall.
