Final Trio Announced for Masters of the Universe Classics Club 200X; Who Got Snubbed?

The final three characters have been revealed for the Mattycollector Club 200X subscription, which Mattel announced at Toy Fair 2015 for the second half of this year. Prahvus, Queen Grayskull, and King Chooblah will be joining Callix, Evil Seed, Ceratus, and five disembodied 200X heads (the exclusive Eternian Heads accessory pack) to round out the six month sub.

The selection reminded me of one aspect I really liked about the 200X cartoon – the flashbacks to the times before He-Man really gave some good backstory and broadened the MOTU universe.

Four Horsemen Unlock Orcs, Stands, and Weapons Packs for Mythic Legions Kickstarter

Forget stretch goals – after hearing the outcry for MOAR ORCS at Toy Fair, the Four Horsemen decided to unlock two of the stretch goal figures in advance of hitting the stretch goal thresholds for them. Urzokk and the previously unrevealed Bog Goblin are now available as add-ons. Not only that, but they’ve also added figure stands and weapons packs to the mix. Time to go visit the Mythic Legions Kickstarter page to click that blue “Manage” button and up your pledge!

And actually, *don’t* forget the stretch goals. To speed up unlocking the remaining figures, the Four Horsemen have doubled them up at each stretch goal threshold. So at $150K, we’ll get Attlus and Urkku (the remaining and most kick-ass of the Orcs), at $160K it’s Vitus and Asterionn, and at $170K it’s Azhar and Zazhar. We’ve yet to see the last four figures (they’re all still shown with generic silhouettes) but I’m betting we’ll want them, too.

Funko Legacy Collection Rocketeer Up for Pre-Order

I saw this figure in person at Toy Fair this past weekend and reached out to Funko. They sent along this high-res pic of The Rocketeer from their Legacy Collection 6-inch super-articulated action figure line. Nice to see that there’s a mid-torso articulation point hidden under that removable jacket flap.

I wonder if the “1” signifies that more characters are possible – I’d love to see a Betty / Jenny. Peevy, not quite as much. 😀 You can pre-order The Rocketeer at Entertainment Earth for $19.99. He’s expected to take flight in June this year.

Spirit of Grayskull Chase Debuts at Early Access for Mattycollector February Sale

Looks like just one item will be up for Early Access for Mattycollector’s February sale (opening tomorrow at 8AM PST) – the glow-in-the-dark Masters of the Universe Classics Spirit of Grayskull. The quarterly 2-pack and Ninja Warrior join the sale during All Access on Monday.

I’m looking forward to Ninjor, but I switched to the quarterly plan this year, so I’ll be waiting until March for him and the Snake-themed pair.
