Mattel Green Lantern Classics Pre-Orders

Those rascals at the Fwoosh have discovered pre-order pages for a new Green Lantern Classics line from Mattel, due out in the fall of this year. Some early words from online retailers:

  • an assortment of 8 figures
  • comics-based, not movie-based
  • compatible with DC Universe Classics
  • and include the Collect and Connect concept

Please note that this is early going, and is all subject to change. Still, damn, I’m excited!

DC Universe Classics Blue Beetle III (Jaime Reyes) Action Pics

I was so excited about the first DC Universe Classics figure that has double-jointed elbows and knees, that as soon as I got him I whipped out my camera to take action pics of him! Buzzy has done a full review of Wave 13 here: DC Universe Classics Wave 13 Review. So, in addition to that review, here are some action pics of Blue Beetle III. Let’s see what he can do!

First Look – Masters of the Universe Classics Tytus – TheFwoosh.com

VeeBee at the Fwoosh has a nice first look at the second over-sized figure in the Masters of the Universe Classics line (Battle Cat was the first). Tytus goes on sale in two weeks, on May 17.

One of the great things about the MOTUC line at this point is that is has been successful enough that the collection is expanding in all sorts of ways. We are seeing MOTU, PoP and NA figures, beasts, and now giants and by this time next year, your MOTUC shelves are going to look very cool and extremely diverse. Tytus is also the first rotocast figure in the line so there are certainly some differences from the standard figures to the big guy.
