The WWRp Large Martins “dropped” for pre-order in February this year, so when these finally arrive it’ll be like 3A Toys has given birth to a bundle of robotic joy. I’ve got the 3 by 3 coming, so it’ll be a pretty big bundle. Can’t wait!

As WWRp Large Martin is entering the shipping system I just wanted to say thanks to the patient folks who have hung in there, Ill make no excuses, these are WAAAY overdue, but I believe when you see the final figs you will see where the time and energy has gone ! They will be in your hands soon, but before that I wanted to show some more images because Im very proud of these !!! -Ash

threeA Toys WWRp Frosty Choad Super Pack Production Pics

Way back in February, 3A Toys offered up the WWRp Large Martins for pre-order, and they’re finally making their way out of the hatchery.

In one of the secret drops, a set of five bots in the Deep Powder colorway were put together in a set called the Frosty Choad Super Pack. They’re not quite a match for the original Winter Defense Bramble, which by coincidence was nicknamed Frosty. For comparison, you can check out MattK’s review of his Winter Bramble.

Lucky 3A enthusiasts will get a Large Martin, a Damn Large Martin, a Bramble, a Bertie, and a Square, all in matching color schemes.

ThreeA Toys WWRp Armstrongs

Fwoosher moldie13 has become known on the boards for his shovel, adventures in the desert, and 3A toys. So I asked him if he would combine these for a photo shoot of the WWRp 8-pack of Armstrongs, which have been reaching those lucky folks who pre-ordered a while back. I’m not going to ask about the lack of shovel.

Big thanks to moldie for these awesome shots and detailed review!

ThreeA Toys 2010 Exclusive Nom de Plume

Ebonhorn was kind enough to send me some pictures and a review of the ThreeA Toys Nom de Plume, which was an exclusive figure for people who purchased the ThreeA 2010 Membership. He’s been waiting patiently for me to publish it since before San Diego Comic-Con, and is bummed that Pabs, the slowest reviewer in the world, was able to publish pics of his Blanc de Plume before I could post this. Sorry and thanks, Ebon!

WWRp Nom de Plume - action 3.jpg

A few months ago, a picture surfaced showing off several unpainted 1/12 scale WWRp robots from ThreeA Toys. However, something else caught every one’s attention – a 1/12 scale human body. The fan base went crazy wondering what it could be. It was not long before our questions were answered – ThreeA had developed a 1/12 scale version of their 1/6 scale figure body. In keeping with tradition, the first 1/12 scale human figure would be Nom de Plume, the very figure that the ThreeA logo invokes. Three A announced that people who bought the ThreeA 2010 membership would receive Nom de Plume as an exclusive surprise. I missed out on the membership but had a chance to get him and did. The big question – does he match up with the high expectations set by the 1/6 scale figures? The quick answer – he certainly does.
