We’ll be looking forward to seeing the Four Horsemen at San Diego Comic-Con. This year, they’ll be bringing some exclusives for their recently licensed Outer Space Men line. These are really starting to shape up from the test shots we saw a few weeks ago – they look like a lot of fun!

Mattel San Diego Comic-Con Updates – Starro Packaging and Pre-Sale Vouchers

Two pretty awesome updates from Mattel on the MattyCollector site today. First up, a demo of the packaging for the JLA Presents Starro the Conqueror exclusive. I had heard that Kevin Conroy was providing the voiceovers here, but I didn’t realize that there was going to be so much of it.

And second, for those of you attending San Diego Comic-Con, maybe the lines for exclusives won’t be quite so bad this year. Mattel is offering pre-sales via MattyCollector on Tuesday, July 13, with pickup times next door to the San Diego Convention Center on Thursday – Saturday.

Hot Toys Berserker Predator Teaser Pic

I guess this means we’re getting an Adrien Brody MMS. Predators opened today, and many reviews said exactly what I wanted to hear – it’s a worthy follow-up to the Ahhnold original from 20+ years ago.

Berserker Predator is unveiled with its mask taking off! Check out another glimpse when predator meets the prey… More photos will be unveiled very soon! Stay tuned!

Toyfare 157 to Reveal New Hasbro Marvel Universe and Mattel DCUC, Ghostbusters, and MOTUC Figures

Toyfare 157 leads into San Diego Comic-Con, and it’s due to hit news stands next week. It will feature new figures from Hasbro and Mattel, and thanks to a subscriber who got his issue early, we’ve got the rundown for you.

Hasbro Marvel Universe

The fifth and sixth series of Marvel Universe for 2010 have been revealed by online retailers who posted pre-orders, but you’ll get some nice closeup pics of some of them in Toyfare. In series 5, you’ve got a Team X Wolverine who looks like a revisit to the 90’s Toy Biz Spy Wolverine, a classic Mystique, and Madrox the Multiple Man. Madrox is sporting his duds from the Ultimate Universe, but without his trenchcoat.

From series 6, there’s Hawkeye (Bullseye, spoiler!) from the Dark Avengers, a classic Constrictor, and Thanos. It looks like Thanos is not wearing the Infinity Gauntlet.

Hot Toys Announces Assassins Creed II Ezio

Assassins Creed II Ezio

I never played either of the Assassin’s Creed games, but remember being impressed with the NECA Player Select version of Altair from the first Assassin’s Creed that I saw at San Diego Comic-Con a few years ago. Ezio from Asassin’s Creed II is impressively detailed. If I had unlimited funds, I’d pick him up just for how cool his accessories are.
