SDCC 2015: Two More Batman-Related Exclusives Coming from Mezco

Mez-Itz Poison Ivy announced and One:12 Collective Batman TDKR Mutant Leader teased

Mezco Convention Exclusives (with Poison Ivy Mez Itz)

Mezco has continued to be busy leading up to San Diego Comic-Con, with two more exclusives revealed for the show. First, they announced a Mez-Itz mini clip-on Poison Ivy. She’s all killer attitude wrapped up in a cute vinyl package, suitable as a key chain or zipper pull, for $8.

Second, they’ve collaborated with Entertainment Earth to put out a teaser for the One:12 Collective Mutant Leader from Frank Miller’s Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. We’d seen the mutant leader in Mezco’s display at NY Comic Con, but had not heard till now when and where he would be released. Entertainment Earth teased the news in a wrap-up of Mezco’s summer exclusives.

Incidentally, that feature also revealed another Batman variant from One:12 Collective, to be released exclusively at the Puerto Rico Comic Con. That’s limited to 300 pieces – a killer for completionists on the line.

Hot Toys Reveals Avengers: Age of Ultron Vision

Hot Toys Avengers Age of Ultron Vision 01

Marvel did a great job of teasing the reveal of Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron, both in the marketing campaign and the movie itself. So it’s not surprising that Hot Toys held back revealing their 1/6 scale figure of Vision until now, after the movie has been in theaters a couple weeks. This way, there shouldn’t be too many folks wondering what that is in his forehead, or why he comes with Mjolnir, Thor’s mystical uru hammer.

I think Vision has a great head sculpt, but I’m wondering about the clothing folds in his “suit” – isn’t the movie Vision made out of Vibranium?

You can pre-order the Marvel Vision Marvel Sixth Scale Figure at Sideshow. Next up, Scarlet Witch?

Mezco has announced two more exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con 2015 – a pair of Breaking Bad figures. Walter White, aka Heisenberg, gets the 12-inch treatment with a new deco – a black jacket and blue shirt. Heisenberg features a removable hat and interchangeable glasses and sunglasses.

Pre-orders go live on Friday, May 15. The 6-inch SDCC exclusive Saul Goodman will set you back $30, while the 12-inch SDCC exclusive Heisenberg will set you back $40. That’s cheap, compared to a Blue Sky addiction!

Marvel Legends Hulkbuster Wave Hi-Res Pics

Marvel Legends Hulkbuster wave - high res pics

Hasbro has released hi-res pics of the upcoming Hulkbuster wave of Marvel Legends, and we’ve got them here in all their glory. The wave consists of War Machine from Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Marvel Now! Iron Man, Doctor Strange, the Vision, Blizzard, a re-do of Valkyrie, and Thundra from the Lady Liberators.

It looks like you’ll have to pick up all seven figures to make the build-a-figure Hulkbuster – not a surprise given its size. Pre-orders have not yet hit for the wave, but I’ll keep searching for Marvel Legends at Entertainment Earth and Amazon, for where I usually find the best deals on cases and individual figures respectively.
