DC Universe Classics Wave 15 Martian Manhunter

It’s November and you know what that means? DC Universe Classics Waves crashing down on us, one after the other! Yes, it’s another end of the year deluge from Mattel. I’m just finishing up DCUC 15 and already DCUC 14 (yeah, I know this sounds weird) is hitting Wal-Marts all over the USA. Even better, looks like Green Lantern Classics Wave 1 isn’t too far behind. So let’s get on to the big gun of DC Universe Classics 15 – Martian Manhunter!

Fantastic Exclusive Gothitropolis Scarabus Interchangeable Face Plates

Not really much more to say than: INTERCHANGEABLE FACE-PLATES! Some people speculated, and yep, many of the face-plates are going to be interchangeable amongst the various heads (the goat & ram heads are not).
This was something that we didn’t expe…

We just posted what we thought was the complete recap of the Fantastic Gothitropolis Scarabus figures, but there’s more – interchangeable face plates for many of the figures. Very cool – now if the Four Horsemen would reveal the price per figure – I want to see if they’ll be in the range where army building is viable.

Not really much more to say than: INTERCHANGEABLE FACE-PLATES! Some people speculated, and yep, many of the face-plates are going to be interchangeable amongst the various heads (the goat & ram heads are not).

This was something that we didn’t expect when we sent the 2-up prototypes to the factory, and when the test shots came back from the factory like this it sparked an idea in our heads. We think you’re going to like the results. More about that soon.

threeA Toys World War Robot Bertie MK3 on Sale Thursday

The 3A Toys WWR Bertie MK3s will go on sale Thanksgiving evening (in the US) on bambalandstore.com. Singles will be $250 each, and the four-pack will be $960. These are in the 1/6 scale, and are massive.

I wish I had the money and the room to get into this line, but I’ll be happy to stick with the portables in 1/12 scale.

Toys R Us Exclusive Marvel Legends Fan’s Choice Winner 2-Pack Hulk

I’m sure most of the FOOM toy collectors know that the new Hasbro Marvel Legends TRU Exclusive Fan’s Choice Winner 2-packs are now flooding into Toys R Us stores and available on TRU.com. Since I’ve been able to get the sets I was coveting, I thought I’d take a little break from DC Universe Classics and spread some Marvel Legends love – starting with the jade giant of the Marvel U., the Hulk!
